The Gift of Life
Human life is so crowded with mundane activities that we rarely have time for self introspection. We seldom find ourselves in an expansive, tranquil mood of silence and reflection altogether. But, alas! We still keep chasing the shadow shapes of power, pleasure and possessions. Born in this world to seek our true root, our origin. We get swirled up in the centrifugal force of the materialistic things, chained in the bond of worldliness. But, then what about work? "Work is essential for a being. It disciplines his mind and exercises his body. Work is a great boon." But, we must remember, 'Work is a means, it is not an end'. Livelihood must never be addled with life. Do not make your work the objective of your life on the earth. The purpose of your life is to cultivate the soul. So, stay connected to the source of all life.
