Catastrophic Climate Change

"Climate change doesn't respect
border; it doesn't respect who
you are- rich or poor, small or big.
Therefore, it's what we quote 'global
challenges', which require
global solidarity."

INTRODUCTION

Its no doubt countries are failing to take the action needed to stave off the worst effects of drastic climatic change.

Climate Change is a deafening issue of the modern era and we are at a dilemmic moment. From altering weather patterns that threaten food production, to rising sea levels that boosts the menace of catastrophic flooding, the impacts of climate change are globular in scope and unprecedented in scale.

Without drastic action, adapting to these impacts in the near future will be extremely arduous and costly for the posterity.

CAUSES

1. Greenhouse gases; Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Nitrogen Dioxide etc. occur naturally and are essential to the survival of humans and millions of residing biodiversity.

2. But after more than a century and
half of industrialization,
deforestation, plarge scale
agriculture, bulks of greenhouse
gases diffused in the atmosphere
have risen to record levels not
seen in thy million years.

We can economically say that,
Standard of Living ∝ Cumulative Level of Greenhouse gas emissions.
But to the extent where my concern grows is, 'What had been the factors which led to this drasticity?'

'Climate hasn't plead a mercy on us,
We've played a hoax on it;
It will make us morose,
If we don't quit playing marbles on.
it!!'

To every scam is a scammers,
To every drasticity is a man dragon.

So, is catastrophic climatic change, the bitter fruit of human negligence.

According to a recent survey, the impacts of rising temperatures aren’t waiting for some far-flung future–the effects of global warming are appearing right now. The heat is melting glaciers and sea ice, shifting precipitation patterns, and setting animals on the move.

REMEDIES

1. Infrastructure upgrade: Energy-efficient buildings and improved cement-making processes(such as using alternative fuels to fire up the kiln) could reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the developed world and prevent them in the developing world.

2. More closer to work : Energy-efficient buildings and improved cement-making processes(such as using alternative fuels to fire up the kiln) could reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the developed world and prevent them in the developing world.

3. Consume less: The easiest way to cut back on greenhouse gas emissions is simply to buy less stuff. Whether by forgoing an automobile or employing a reusable grocery sack, cutting back on consumption results in fewer fossil fuels being burned to extract, produce and ship products around the globe.

4. Think green, think clean: Think green when making purchases. For instance, if you are in the market for a new car, buy one that will last the longest and have the least impact on the environment. Thus, a used vehicle with a hybrid engine offers superior fuel efficiency over the long haul while saving the environmental impact of new car manufacture.

5. Be Efficient: A potentially simpler and even bigger impact can be made by doing more with less. Citizens of many developed countries are profligate wasters of energy, whether by speeding in a gas-guzzling sport-utility vehicle or leaving the lights on when not in a room.

6. Stop Cutting Down Trees: Every year, 33 million acres of forests are cut down. Timber harvesting in the tropics alone contributes 1.5 billion metric tons of carbon to the atmosphere. That represents 20 percent of human-made greenhouse gas emissions and a source that could be avoided relatively easily.
Improved agricultural practices along with paper recycling and forest management—balancing the amount of wood taken out with the amount of new trees growing—could quickly eliminate this significant chunk of emissions.
And when purchasing wood products, such as furniture or flooring, buy used goods or, failing that, wood certified to have been sustainably harvested. The Amazon and other forests are not just the lungs of the earth, they may also be humanity's best short-term hope for limiting climate change.

7. Unplug: Believe it or not, U.S. citizens spend more money on electricity to power devices when off than when on. Televisions, stereo equipment, computers, battery chargers and a host of other gadgets and appliances consume more energy when seemingly switched off, so unplug them instead.

CONCLUSION

During 1950s, it was a mere assumption; in 2000s it became a cause of worry; but the 'Global era', the 21st century has witnessed the problem as a drainage to the human sustainability.

I would pen;
'Ponder wise, so that even thunders seems nice....'
