The Highly Contagious, Wonderful Human Behaviour

'An act of kindness can ultimately be tripled in value.'

How?

By, people subsequently giving more and more.

"This contagious behaviour provides a significant boost to happiness."

People, thus, have an innate inborn ability to procure just the product from their surroundings, without having to think of the process, the struggle behind it. As every act has two sides- a bright and a grey one. The bright side, here, reflects the 'procurer' who just availed the struggle-free, ripe fruit; which they savour. While, the grey side, here, reflects the 'giver' who had to loose a part of him/her, to benefit the counterpart. That is the deed of ultimate selflessness. That is certainly the golden thread that binds one to moksha, heavenly solace it is! "But, then are there any levies or debts stringed to it too?" I wonder. Just, as no bank or money lender barters money in lieu of an asset, then, I certainly, am addled to how can one barter happiness?

For me- "Happiness is not an extrovertial trait, but, it is a feeling- a deep down reflection of your gratitude." And, mark my words- IT IS HAPPINESS THAT FOLLOWS GRATITUDE, NOT THE GRATITUDE THAT BECOMES THE SUCCESSOR. Maybe, then that's the reason it's 'highly contagious'. One can go spilling and perfuming it out in the milieu.

Thus, happiness is what follows your deeds; it is the fruit, you ultimately, reap.
