If not now, then when?

Who would have ever thought, that,
We would be living in a world;
Where people who once outcasted pun on women to cover her visage,
Would now be seen in every nook and corner; dressed up head to toe, not to show?
Oh, no!
To prevent the flow,
Of the deadly disease nearly entrapping every second person in a row.

Who would have ever though, that,
We would be living in a world;
Where people who once discriminated and played touchability-untouchability,
Would now be living in only one square of their home, ripping off every contact and touch.
"The new untouchables", we are-
A whole new paradigm to the notion.

Who would have ever thought, that,
We would be living in a world;
Where people who once promoted social interactions and extravertness,
Would now be seen yelling out;
"Stop! Stop! Instead preach residing in one's own cocoon."
Social gatherings, at least now stop!

Who would have ever thought, that,
The world would start an anti-clock function;
With humans encaged and slaved,
While animals out of the bars,
Free from all the human-created tensions and living worthy hours.

Who would have ever thought...
